This study aims to evaluate the tourism investment in Algeria and the knowledge of the competitiveness of the sector in some North African countries (Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco), highlighting the natural tourism potential and the housing capacity in Algeria, we calculated the rating of competitiveness of the sector by the number of tourists arriving and departing in the country according to their number in the zone of study.

The study concluded that the state intends to encourage tourism investment through a number of measures incentives and facilitation, as well as the volume of financing.

However, the competitiveness rating of the sector in Algeria was very weak compared to the neighboring countries under study.
