This paper discusses the Art of Animal Tales in Ahmad Shawgis Poetry Collection (third volume).
The number of tales tackled in this paper amounts up to 53 tales.These tales used animals as a disguise and symbol to express the poets attitude towards certain problems in the real life which he could not talk about, for some reason, in a direct manner.
This paper tries to discuss these tales in depth focusing on their linguistic structure, metrics, symbols and images.
