Abstract EN

The study aimed at investigating the impact of economic resources 011 social development in Jordan from the perspective of the faculty members at AL- Balqa Applied University and it is relation with some variables such as gender, college, and academic rank.

For this purpose a questionnaire was designed consisted of two paits: the first part included the following variables: gender, college, and academic rank.

The second pait included (23) items.

A stratified sample of 110 faculty member was selected (20% of the total population).

The results revealed that: -There is no statistically significant effect of the average responses of faculty members on the scale of the study attributed to the Gender.

-There is no statistically significant effect of the average responses of faculty members on the scale of the study attributed to the College.

-There is no statistically significant effect of the average responses of faculty members on the study attributed to the academic rank.

The study finally offered several recommendations for which may have some influence on social development in Jordan.
