Abstract EN

The period of the last three centuries of the Middle Ages was characterized by the spread of education throughout the entire Maghreb.

It was not limited to cities but to all the villages in the country.

However, the pattern and form of education in the country differed from that in the cities.

Tlierfore a variety of phenomena have characteri zed it and led us to contemplate its origins, the essence of its existence, the secret of its components, and its impact 011 the educational processwith regard to clieldren, including the method of teacher's salaries, the phenomenon of donations and gifts given to the teacher and the celebration of the memorization of the Quran, or what is known as the decoration of the Quran memorization plate.
