The current Status shows a lack of professional performance in all sectors and areas, causing him a lot of problems and challenges of sustainable development and then clear the need to consolidate professional culture in all areas and raise the level of professional awareness and its relation to occupational preference to the students of the College education quality Minia University to keep up with developments of the times and the requirements of human development and labor market developments.

The aim of the present study defined the relationship between the level of professional awareness and professional preference among a sample of students of the Faculty of Specific Education Minia University, and gender differences in the level of professional awareness and professional preference.

The current study was conducted on a sample of (250) students from the College of the quality of the various disciplines of Education at the University of Minia during the first semester of the academic year 2016/2017 m.

The study consisted tools in the two measures for professional awareness and professional preference to students of the Faculty of Specific Education Minia University.

The results showed a high level of professional awareness and professional preference among a sample study of students of the Faculty of Specific Education Minia University, the existence of a correlation between the level of professional awareness and professional preference for the study sample; and the presence of a statistically significant difference between male and female students in the level of professional awareness for the benefit of the students at (0:01), and the lack of a statistically significant difference between male and female students in vocational preference.
