The objective of the current research is to identify the compatibility of the content provided in the educational satellite channels with the criteria of media education.

The researcher used the analytical descriptive method.

The study tool consisted of a questionnaire directed to the students of the preparatory certificate.

- The existence of a positive correlation between statistical issues between education of satellite channels and media education standards.

- The existence of a positive correlation relationship between the degree of contribution of educational programs in the treatment of educational issues and media education standards.

- There are statistically significant differences between male and female students in evaluating the media treatment of education issues in educational satellite channels in light of media education standards.

- There are statistically significant differences between urban and rural students in evaluating the media treatment of education issues in educational satellite channels in light of media education standards.
