Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the evaluation of the academic elite of Egyptian films after the revolution of 25 January in the context of the modern concept of media education.

The researcher used the analytical descriptive method.

The study tool consisted of a questionnaire aimed at the academic elite.

- More than 3 films per week were ranked first (50%), while 2: 3 films per week came in second place (34%), and one film a week came last (16%).

- Watching comedy films ranked first by (99%), followed by watching police films by (90%), followed by films of excitement and then social films.

The confidence of the elite towards the films was 66%, while the average confidence level was 27%.

In the latter, the highest level of confidence was 7%.
