Job satisfaction is an important aspect to build a health and strong community .
It's a new field consider to human civilization , start at the end of the seventeenth of the earlier century .
libraries have a central position in any developed society , and especially in all academic facilities .
It was always the place of human knowledge store .
This paper aim to examine the female librarian satisfaction on their jobs , according to Porter-Lawler model for job-satisfaction .
show the influence of group of variables consist from ( age , social situation , No.
of sons , experience , scientific degree , monthly salary ) on the range of job satisfaction .
The sample of the study consist from female librarians works in Baghdad and Al-Mustansirya university , which consider as the most big official universities in Baghdad .
the capital of Iraq .
Study results show that there is significant statistical distinctions at a = 0.05 between job-satisfaction and all variables , expect the social situation .
the study show high correlation between job-satisfaction and age .
the result indicate there is a high to middle range of job-satisfaction in effort section , compare with a low range of job-satisfaction in reward section .
Paper suggest to standardize the measure tool for and apply it for all Iraqi official university libraries to draw complete picture for job-satisfaction of librarians in all Iraqi universities .
Establish health care insurance program for librarians against dust asthma disease .
make detail researches in job-satisfaction for university academic and employment stuff using famous pictures of job-satisfaction measures tools like Minnesota job-satisfaction measures tool .
