Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the concept of electronic publishing , targets , growth factors and their basic functions as well as problems of using it.

It high lights on the meaning of knowledge and scientific research and to clarify the importance and their main features and types , also it indicates to the impact of using the electr onic publishing on the scientific research.

Survery methodology was used and the questionnaire of (10) questions has been used as the main tool to collect data which dealing with the research subject.

The most important conclusions reached by the research are : The dependance 011 electronic publishing partialy in preparing the researches comes in the first grade .

Google is the most search engines used by the students , Electronic books considered as the most important electr onic source followed by electronic jourrals .

The research reached to many recommenditions .

it is nesessaiy to provide university libraries with electronic publishing techniques , also to learn the student how to use electronic search engines .
