Like every other art, directing has passed through a long path, from the Greek era till nowadays.

It was difficult at the beginning to that art to take place in theater’s team work, by the time and the technological development , the camera took place and this was the first thing which changes facts and gave push to the art of directing.

These two arts are very close to each other, and the differences between both of them aren’t very numerous, every art’s component can be found in the other, we can find the scenario in movies and the text in plays, the actor is very important in plays or movies and other elements which are very important in directing such as decor, clothes, accessories, scenography… The director is an artist and should have a vision, this vision is the key to take the text or the scenario from one level to another; it is the way to transform the written to the spoken using the available artistic ways.
