Abstract EN

I chose the study because of its profound impact on linguistic and non - linguistic science moreover I found it difficult to study the linguistic phenomenon away from the social and cultural phenomena which dominates the society specially because reality which we live witnesses communication period among its phenomena .

One of the study objectives is the pragmatic term in the modern linguistic science .

also to follow the pragmatic stages in linguistic history .

moreover to know the arab priority in pragmatics.

I wrote this research in thirteen chapters in addition to the introduction and the conclusion .

the introduction contains both the research plan and its method .the chapters are : defining pragmatics , the history of pragmatics , pragmatics and other sciences , the important of pragmatic study ,the conditions of the pragmatic study , the general researches of pragmatics , the impact of the symantics on pragmatics .pragmatic analysis of communication process, the pragmatic analysis of the spoken language , the pragmatics of social linguistics , context , the text linguistics , and last chapter is text reading .The conclusion sums up the research results according to the research objectives .

As for the method as is the descriptive method based on the analysis and deduction in this research .
