Bacterial blight caused by Pseudomonas syringae pv.
pisi is one of the most important diseases of peas in Syria.
A specific antiserum was produced against the isolate PI96/22 and compared with the specific antiserum for the reference strain 299A.
Tests (slide- agglutination test and ELISA) of both antisera revealed the occurrence of serological relationship between the reference strain and the strain isolated from Syria.
