Abstract EN

The purpose of this study was to provi& a suggest- ed vision for the development of acmletnic guidance and scientific supervision practices in the light of the concept of transformational leadership and their relation to the excellence of research produc- tion for postgraduate students.

The descriptive survey tnethod was utilized in this study The study population of all the post graduate students at King Khalid University for the academic year 1438 All, totaling 2002 students.

A questiM'naire was administered for collecting data.

Ihe results of this study revealed that the academ- ic guidance and scientific supervision in the light of the dimensions of the concept of transfortnational leadership included in this study achieved a level (to a certain extent) being actually practiced the ground from the Biint ofview of the study VRrsonneI.

The results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average resvwnses ofthe study on the reality of the practice of academic guidance and scientific supervision in light of the dimensions of the concept of transformational leadership at- tributed to the in the following variables: College, the pro- gram, while there were significant differences in the sex variable fa- voring the female students.

The results revealed that the of the practice of academic guidance and scientific supervision in the light of the dimensions of the concept of transformational leadership included in this study achieved a degree a very- important- degree from the 1K'int of view of the study members for their research pro- duction distinction.

A provxjsed vision that may contribute to the de- velopment of practices of academic guidance, scientific and distinction of the post graduate students research prodiktion was provided
