Title of the Study: Evaluation of the curricula of preparing the teacher of art education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia-from their point of view The problem of the Study: The Study focused on determining the gap between what was consider for the teacher and what is presented to him in the colleges of preparation and sections of art education, which is represented by some difficulties and problems suffered by the teacher of art education in particular.

The difficulties are like the lack of an art Studio, and the lack of experience in how to use the tools and technical raw materials, which hampered the implemen- tation of the lessons of art education in public Schools.

These have weakened the outputs.

Therefore, the main question of this Study was focus on the opinion of art education teachers' in their preparation courses, which include specialized courses of scientific and theoreti- cal, educational courses.

Objectives of the Study: The Study aimed to evaluate the programs of preparing the teacher of art education in Saudi Arabia from the point of view of its teachers and graduates in the specialized scientific, the- oretical and educational courses.

Methodology and Procedures: The Study followed the analytical de- scriptive approach because of its relevance to the Study queQions and their survey nature.

The descriptive approach is "based on the Study of reality or phenomenon as it exiQs in reality and is concerned as a description expressed in quantitative terms or quantitative expres- slon" Society and Study: The Study targeted all the teachers and teachers of art education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, so they were the Study community.

The sample was a voluntary random sample of 357 teachers and supervisors from all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

They responded to the Study tool and evaluated the courses of the art education departments.

Highlights of the Study: The Study reached several results of the most prominent: -The average of the results showed that the sample of the Study sees its high benefit from theoretical specialized courses in general com- pared to the specialized practical courses or professional educational courses.

-The moQ important and useful practical courses from the point of view of the teachers of art education are in order of: (principles of design, calligraphy, drawing, painting or color expression, drawing and engineering perspective, works of art, ornamentation or Islamic
