The study dealt with the schools of Al-Quds Al-Sharif as one of the most important educational institutions during the eighteenth century AD , in terms of origin, The clergy , teachers and preachers , And all persons who have different religious, educational or administrative functions In thirty-seven schools scattered throughout Jerusalem.

The study also dealt with the location of each school and the number of jobs with the salary of each job and how to get these jobs .

The study was based on the records of the Sharia courts in Jerusalem, which were written in Arabic, It was considered as a major source for researchers in the study of different aspects of cultural, cultural, economic and social life as it contains information rich and objective as well as it is comprehensive and detailed and blocked a great shortage in the books of the history of Jerusalem in the Ottoman era
