Abstract EN

The letters and sounds of Dhadh and Dha' are the pride of the Arabic language and the source of its distinction; on which many rich books and classifications were dedicated because of their similarity and confused usage which is due to their similar structure and articulation is intermingling on the tongue; their pronunciations are to a great degree analogous in orthography, in addition to their constant controversy until nowadays.

This prompted me to think of methods that would make the issue a bit easier and it would help connect its parts together hoping that it would be of use in clarifying confusion.

I came up with outcomes that can be pinned down in three parts: the first is focused on two keywords: "Limitation/ Extension", the limitation of the Dha' shaped its form and many of its analogous pronunciations, while the extension of the Dhadh led to its domination in the same aforementioned context.

The second part is dedicated to the short story or the example (reference), while in the third part obscure grammatical patterns of these two letters the main pattern of which is that some letters cannot possibly be set together with the Dhadh, even though it is originally more inclusive and richer than the Dha'.
