English Abstract
The study has aimed to identify the Amman Municipality's image to Jordanian public and the most factors affect it.
The study is one the descriptive survey studies using a questionnaire.
Its population is represented by all the Jordanian public in Amman (4 millions).
The study has used a simple random sample of (614) citizens.
After the statistical procedures by (Spss)، the study has concluded that the most important fields of communication performance of GAM (Greater Amman Municipality that affect the forming its image are; the responses and clarifications on what is published in the media، followed by refuting false rumors، false news and false information published about GAM.
Also it has displayed that the most prominent service works that contribute in forming GAM's image is using the electronic payment to facilitate the completion of transactions، and building a comprehensive database for the public in order to simplify and improve the services provided.
Adding to that the study has showed that the Jordanian public has a good impression about the level of interaction of the GAM electronically in providing its services to the public، and the ability of the staff of the Amman Municipality to discuss، negotiate and communicate with others in a tactful manner but they have a negative impression about level of meeting GAM the needs of the public.
The most important recommendations made by the researcher based on the results of the study were Making and presenting a television program or a recorded media message containing main achievements of GAM through official and private media channels weekly and developing a system of communication with public through communication platforms and websites to know the needs and questions of the public، and facilitate routine procedures
