تعّ وسيلة التحقيق البرلماني، من أهم الوسائل الرقابية التي يمارسها الكونكرس على السلطة التنفيذية، رغم عدم النص عليها في صلب الدستور، و هذه الوسيلة التي يمتلكها الكونكرس يتم بمقتضاها عزل أي من الموظفين المدنيين من أعضاء السلطة التنفيذية أو أعضاء السلطة القضائية، بمن فيهم رئيس الدولة و نائبه في حال ارتكاب أي منهم جريمة الخيانة العظمى أو الرشوة أو غيرها من الجنايات و الجنح الخطيرة.
Abstract EN
The means of parIiamentary investigation .one of the most important means of controI exercised by the Congress on the executive authority .aIthough not stipuIated in the Constitution .and this means of the Congress by which the removaI of any of the subjects Members of the executive branch or members of the judiciars .incIuding the head of state and his deputy in the event of any of them committing the crime of treason or brbery or other serious crimes and misdemeanors.
