The study aimed at revealing the effect of training on different competences on the job performance and its dimensions (teaching activities, research activities, university and community activities) for Tabuk University staff, according to the gender variable (male and female), to the variable of specialization (scientific - literary) and according to Years of experience (less than five years - five to ten years - more than ten years).

The sample of the study consisted of (104) University Staff, (76) males, (28) females, (84) literary, (20) scientific.

The tools included a questionnaire to measure the impact of training on different competences on the job performance (teaching activities, research activities, university and community activities).

The tool divided into three sections.

The first section aims at collecting preliminary information including demographic questions (gender) , Specialization, years of experience).

The second section aims at collecting information about the nature of the training courses received by the faculty member, The third aims to measure the job performance (teaching activities - research activities - university and community activities) for the faculty member by the training received on the different competences.

After the use of the appropriate statistical methods, the results showed a statistical significance of the differences between the repetitions of the five responses in all dimensions of the job performance (teaching activities - research activities - university and community activities) and the total score, and the existence of statistically significant differences in the impact of training on job performance at Tabuk University From the point of view of faculty members in favor of females, and for the benefit of literary specialists, and according to the variable number of years of experience, Study findings were interpreted in the light of the theoretical framework and previous studies.
