The aim of this study is to find out the correlation between the big five personality factors and emotional intelligence among blind males of university students, and also if there are statistically significant differences between blind and sighted males in the total degree of emotional intelligence.

The study sample consisted of (26) students from the Department of History of the faculty of Arts, Fayoum University, (2nd,3rd and 4th), blind students (13 males), second (4 blind students), third (3 blind students),fourth (6 blind students), The average age (23) was a standard deviation of 1.4121, and a sample of visual students (13 males) (in the same number of each group) in the 2018 academic year.

The average age was 21.3077 and the standard deviation was 1.10940, The tools are: The the big five personality factors inventory preparation Costa and MCcare, the translation of Badr al-DinAnsari, and the measure of emotional intelligence, edited by Shabman (2001), translated by Abdul- Jabber Nasser al-Samarrai in his study (2005).The Study found the following results: - There is no statistically significant correlation between the big five personality factors (neuroticism, extraversion, openness, agreeableness, consciousness) and the total degree of emotional intelligence and its dimensions except for the existence of a statistically significant a positive correlation at the level of significant less than .05 between extraversion and self- motivation among blind males, also found appositive correlation at the level of significant less than .05 between openness and self- motivation among blind males, and appositive correlation at the level of significant less than .05 between agreeableness and relationship management among blind males.

- There are statistically significant differences at level less than .05 between blind and sighted males in the total degree of emotional intelligence.
