يسلط البحث الضوء على سياسة ملوك الدولة السلوقية (311- 64 ق.
م) في تأسيس المدن في ارجاء امبراطوريتهم، والوقوف على الأسباب و الاهداف التي دفعتهم لذلك، مع التعرض الى ذكر اعداد تلك المدن، و من هم أشهر الملوك الداعمين لتحقيق هذه السياسة التوسعية في الشرق الأدنى القديم، و النتيجة ان سياسة هؤلاء الملوك جاءت لتحقيق مكاسب سياسية، و اقتصادية، و دينية، و عسكرية بل و ثقافية ايضاً.
Abstract EN
The research reviews the policy of the kings of the Seleucid state (311-64 BC) in establishing the cities in their empire, and to find out the reasons for this, with reference to the numbers of those cities, and who are the most famous kings in support of this expansionist policy in the Ancient Near East, the result was that the kings' policy was to achieve: political, economic, religious and military objectives.
