Phenomenon of trope has a crucial and valuable role in acquiring an accurate knowledge of the Quran verses.

Since through which might the true meaning can be achieved so that it protects us from the intellectual deviation.

This idiom has raised from third century higri on and many books were written on that till now.

Linguistics believe that the word “مجاز” (trope) is derived from word "جوز" or they count it as Mimi infinitive.

It means crossing or passing, or they say it is locative noun which means passing.

The rhetoricians and jurisprudents consider it as a word not used in its real meaning.

This idiom was not used in the time of Prophet Mohammad and his companions but they employed interpretation and explanation or figurative expression in their Kalam.

Although most intellectuals in realm of literature and knowledge have agreed with the existence of trope in Quran and considered it as one of the masterpieces of Holy Quran as well as an indication of miracle "i'jaz" of Quran, the Al' zaahiraywn and Wahhabites and Salafis particularly Ibn Taymiyyah denied employment of trope in the Kalam of the predecessors, so they considered it as an innovation which has begun after the third century higri
