Abstract EN

Hashiyat al Baghdadi on (Explanation of Banat Sua’d) of Ibn Husham is a significant book whose researcher worked so hard to bring it out in a very good way.

Unfortunately, he misinterpreted proper names while indexing the word (al Baghdadi) in the sense he, according to our reading, replaced it with (Abdul Qadir Al Baghdadi) who is in fact the writer of (Hashiyat).

Not only this, but he misrelated it with (Ahmed Ibn Mohammed Ibn Al Haddad al Bijli) and (Ibn Hisham), too.

Thus, he was fallacious since he did not take notice of the accuracy of Hashiyat’s writer while he should have related it to (al Bijli al Baghdadi)
