Abstract EN

The present research aimed at identifying the competencies of communication among the instructors of the college of education in terms of the variables of gender, specification and years of experience.

the research sample consisted of 135 male and female instructors.

al-Khuzai's (2017) communicative competence scale was used and adapted for the research sample.

the results showed that members of the research sample do have communicative competence and that there are no statistically significant differences in terms of the gender variable, however; there are statistically significant differences between the specifications for the humanitarian specification and that there are statistically significant differences in terms of years of experience for those with greater years of experience.
