Abstract EN

Before Islam, fines were defined by Aras one of the methods of punishment they practiced.

They are an important means of organizing society and rearranging relations between individuals and tribes by compensating for damages resulting from murder and families.

The amounts of these penalties varied according to the social status of the perpetrator or the victim.

The knowledge of the Arwas limited to two basic types, namely, blood money and ransom, and imposed the amount of camels because of their importance and their status and being the money they bargained for, so their presence was active in that society, while cash was punished by them, but little to the scarcity of its existence.
