The Iranian-Omani relations are basically of common interests and mutual trust between the two sides and are based on the development of political cooperation between them.

These relations have led to the establishment of strong ties in the field of security cooperation in the Strait of Hormuz and the conclusion of several agreements and memorandums of understanding on joint cooperation.

The two countries view their relations as historical and solid historical relations governed by a policy of mutual respect and non-interference in internal affairs.

The internal changes represented by the change of the political and foreign system with direct influence have not adversely affected the nature of the relations between the two countries.

And to work on exchanging views between the two friendly countries on various issues and developments of common interest, and on all that can enhance the possibility of achieving stability for the countries and peoples of the region.
