The current study aimed at identifying the extent of preparing teachers in Algeria and for their professional development according to the concept of lifelong learning, whereby the concept of lifelong learning became one of the basic concepts in modern educational systems which calls for the necessity of continuing education even after the learner has acquired or The student on the certificates, in the professional, social and cultural life, with the contribution of through diversifying educational tools and methods and pedagogical methods that wish and develop in order to make the teacher professional, producing knowledge and constantly developing his professional practices.

Taken together, these causes led to outstanding problems, great challenges, and Algeria has worked to include the concept of lifelong learning in order to better train teachers in all educational phases, given its integration with the concept of sustainable professional development for them, as it contributes to increasing teacher growth professionally and improving their performance in All aspects of knowledge, skills, and behavior begin from the teacher’s graduation and joining the profession and continue throughout his service in it, as it is a long-term that is based on the idea of lifelong learning and is not timed by a certain time period that provides the teacher with everything new in the field of specialization, and develops his teaching skills, and qualifies him for The facade of the new educational developments, and as such, it is a complementary process to prepare for the service was reflected in the educational product represented by the student.
