The research aims to know the effectiveness of teaching social subjects subjects via the Web Quest in the achievement of the first intermediate grade students.

The two researchers formulated the zero hypothesis, which stipulated that there is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of students of the experimental group who are studying social matter on According to the Web Quest and the average score of the control group students who study the same subject in the traditional way in the post achievement achievement test, the sample reached (50) students divided into two divisions, the researchers used the experimental research method, and the experimental design of two equal groups with partial control.

The research with the post achievement test included (40) paragraphs of the multiple choice type, and the apparent honesty was extracted by presenting it to a group of specialized professors, and the stability of the tool from the way of the Fakronbach equation reached (84), which is a good stability factor, and after completing the research experiment The researchers used the T-test for two independent samples to extract the results of the research, and the results of the research showed the superiority of the experimental group students over the students of the control group in the post achievement test, and the researchers concluded that the Web Quest was effective in improving the level of achievement of the middle first grade students, and the researchers recommended The use of modern teaching strategies by social teachers, and to complement the current research, the researchers suggested conducting a similar study on other samp
