The third millennium has seen various concepts as a result of the interaction between the knowledge revolution and communications technology.

And from their features the emergence of a knowledge society, which had produced new concepts adequate with the requirements of this society such as: digital publishing which has produced digital contents in different fields.

The digital content industry is a vital indicator on the transition to a knowledge society, for the production and presentation of digital educational content appropriately for the use in the Teaching/ Learning process.

And the possibility of interacted with this content for the investment in the information to gain the knowledge society.

The paper attempts to clarify the Algerian digital educational content, by asking about: the content nature, forms, and the stakeholders, also the digital projects which support the digital educational content which accompany modern trends in education as a modern means to address The third millennium has seen various concepts as a result of the interaction between the knowledge revolution and communications technology.
