The symbol is the backbone on which the literary text is based , and the text can not be completed , The mythological symbol was one of the most important symbols which led to the context in Najafi poetry , These symbols were signs that radiate the poetic meaning , The poets keenness to evoke the symbol that corresponds to the nature of the idea to be delivered to the recipient to achieve this evocation textual coherence , and the most important mythological symbols used in this research and whose function in the cohesion of the text is the myth of Aphrodite , the myth of medusa , the myth of Sinbad , the legend of the sap and the legend of Sisyphus.
