Abstract EN

This study dealt with the role of continuous improvement in developing the academic performance inputs at the Sudanese private universities at Khartoum State.

The questionnaire was used for collecting data.

The descriptive and analytical method were used for analyzing the data.

The research found several findings, including: the adoption of continuous improvement philosophy by the Sudanese private universities do not contribute to the level of performance development required due to the absence of clear plans and lack of sufficient qualified staff members, and the senior management support the continuous improvement which obviously appear in curriculum development and providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills in their specialization area.

The study recommended that the philosophy of continuous improvement should be considered in order to improve the performance of the teaching staff by spreading this culture and raising awareness of its importance and clarifying clear and specific plans to implement it.
