Abstract EN

This paper aims to study the role of inflationary financing in economic development from the traditional and Islamic point of view, discussing the arguments of supporters of development deficit finance, and the opposition and the weighting of their views, whether through traditional economic systems or the Islamic system.

The framework of this paper is based on a detailed literature review of the theory of development deficit finance.

In addition, the paper examines the views and practical implications of each group arguments and discusses these views in an attempt to identify the actual impact of inflationary financing on the development process in both positive and negative aspects.
