The present research project tackles one aspect of the irony aspects in Bashar Bin Burd s poetry , which is the political irony .

This is achieved in terms of three angels : ridiculing the outsiders , ridiculing the members of the government, and ridiculing the Arabs.

certain factors led him to do so , may be the important of which are : his personal greeds , his hatred against Arab starting from his Persian anti - Arab feeling in addition to his disbelief.

He expresses all of this using high poetic language which is distingwished somefmed in its direct illocution .
