Abstract EN

This paper aims at investigating the preparation of the mathematics teacher for the preparatory school of the college of the Basic Education .

The research sample include the (21) staff member oI the department of mathematics , college of basic education for the academic year (2005-2006).A rcconnoilering is prepared that contains (22) items including the most important skills that a teacher of mathematics should have .

The researches followed the interview method in applying the rcconnoilering in order to obtain suggestions for developing programs lor preparing teacher of mathematics .

Results show that the program is effective in preparing teacher of mathematics that have the ability and skill to prove their pupils to leam mathematics .
