Abstract EN

This research aims to clarify the idea of productive education in light of the knowledge economy represented by the producing university and to present the experience of the International University of Africa as a model for productive educational institutions.

The descriptive analytical method was used.Among the most important findings of the research:The world has turned towards a knowledge economy that revolves around the production, dissemination and use of knowledge in the running of the wheel of life.

Productive education promotes learners ’skills and develops their creativity and innovation capabilities.

he production drives societies towards progress and prosperity.

Some of educational institutions applied the idea of productive education, some of these institutions and universities have become productive universities played the role assigned to them and provide some financial resources.

The International University of Africa adopted the idea of a productive university and focused on productive education and worked on it theoretically and practiced it through academic programs and curricula in some colleges.

The College of Agricultural Technology and Production is the main college for applying productive education.

One of the most important productive projects is the farm of IUA which includes horticultural crops , and agrarian products and the manufacturing of forest and animal products.This production was reflected in the activities of the university and its services, and before that, what the IUA environment witnessed of continuous development in all aspects.
