Abstract EN

This study aims at identifying the role of the curriculum in dealing with social problems among students of basic education in Sudan By clarifying the importance of the curricula of the basic education level in Sudan, and the problems facing the school curricula, and developing solutions and proposals for these problems, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, where the study sample represented in (50) teachers from the teachers of basic education level of Al-Jazirah State, Al-Managel locality .

The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (Spss) is used to analyze the study results.

The study comes out with the following results: Basic education curricula in Sudan achieves the goals and philosophy of society, experimenting the curriculum and training teachers on it contributes in addressing the social problems of students.

the obstacles that face the application of basic education curricula and their treatment of social problems are non-continuous training for teachers.

The solutions and proposals for curricula to solve social problems is to activate the role of social and psychological counselor in the school.

keep updating the curricula continuesly with scientific and technological developments.

Based on these results, the researcher recommended the necessity of continuous training for teachers on the developed curricula and contribute to addressing social problems, and the continuity of keeping up with the curricula of contemporary developments in solving social problems.
