The research aims at answering the following questions:1.

What is the leadership behaviour of the principals of the primary schools in the two aspects of the work and the humanistic relationships from the viewpoint of their teachers?2.

What is the level of vocational performance to the teachers of primary schools from the viewpoint of the teachers themselves?3.

Is there a statistic relationship between the leadership behaviour of the primary schools mangers (with its two aspects: initiation structure and the consideration relationships, and the level of the vocational performance of teachers?The research has been limited on the primary schools male and female, teachers in the centre of Ninavah Governorate and the schools for boys, girls and schools for boys and girls for the academic year 2003-2004,The sample of the research has consisted of (424) male and female teachers chosen from (325) schools for boys, girls, boys and girls who form a percentage of 10% from the teachers' society.

The researcher has used two instruments: the first describes the leadership behaviour of the principals of primary schools taken from the study of (AI-Khayyat, 2001) after putting it under the procedures of validity and reliability.

The first instrument in its final form has been made up of (68) items.

The second instrument made by the researcher has aimed at being informed with the level of vocational performance of the teachers of the primary schools.

The instrument has consisted of (36) items after exposing it to the procedures of validity and reliability,After analysing the data by referring to the statistic parcel for the social sciences, using the T-test to two joined samples, one sample and the Pearson correlation equation, it is known that:1.

the teachers of primary schools think that the principals are practicing the leading approach concerned with the two aspects equally.2.

The level of vocational performance of the primary schools teachers is more than medium.3.

There is no statistic relationship between the leadership behaviour for the principals of primary schools concerned with the consideration relationship and the level of vocational performance of the teachers.
