The administrative and organizational structure of the Iraqi Ministry of Finance is the basis on which it relied on carrying out all its financial and accounting activities through its directorates and the administrative and organizational tasks assigned to it and in accordance with the laws and regulations governing its work, so it prepared and controlled all budgets and their numbers and supervised the drawing of the financial and monetary policy of the state, and worked to develop the accounting system and she undertook the inspection of the state accounts, applied the customs and excise regulations, developed the credits and plans for government projects, monitored the disbursement and commitment of the amounts approved in the budget, and worked to monitor and implement financial laws and regulations.
