فاعلية إستراتيجية تدريسية مقترحة في ضوء طريقة حل المشكلات في عملية التغيير المفاهيمي لدى مدرسي و مدرسات الفيزياء و موقفهم منها

Abstract EN

This study aims at knowing the Impact of a suggested teaching strategy in the light of making solutions to problems in the process of changing the conceptions of teachers (male and female) of physics and shows their point of view towards it.

The sample of the research consists of (250) teachers of physics (male and female) in the intermediate, secondary schools relating to the General directorate of education in Ninevah.

Those have participated in the teaching course held by the Ministry of Education in (2002).

The researcher found that those teachers have misconception on certain physical principles and conception.

This leads the researcher to suggest a new teaching strategy to solve problems and applying it to achieve change in their conception.

The researcher has prepared two things: First, obtaining test consisting of (10) items and each of these has a firm relation with physics conceptions .

Second , There sort questionnaire consisting of (5) items to discover the teacher's positions towards the suggested strategy.

After collecting data from the sample of the research and analyzing it statistically, the results have proved the effect of the suggested teaching strategy to make changes in the conceptions process as well as the teachers positive point view towards it.
