Abstract EN

This study aims at studying Al-Mutanabi’s point of view is staggering between refusal and acceptance.

The poet’s point of view is ambrilant and thus he justifies his point of view, whether it is passive or positive, through poetry which does not subdue to the normal logic in order to add positivity to his point of view.

This study tackles the following sides : 1- Grayhair in poetic tradition.

2- Al-Mutanabi’s special point of view towards grayhair.

3- The ambivilant view of Al-Mutanabi towards grayhair which is the practical side of this paper, for we talked the poet’s point of view which refuses grayhair, then we tackled his correspondence with the grayhair.

The paper concludes that poet-in both situations, has his own quality which distinguishes him from his predesessors for he doesn’t surrender and he doesn’t wscape from his present to past as his predecessors do.

As for his acceptance, he can be regarded as a pioneer.

In addition, his acceptance comes to be justified.

He sees that oldage of instinct to the stage of meditation clairvoyancy of the universal facts.
