The present study aims at analyzing the autobiography of Sultan Turan Shah al-Ayyubi besides, it shows his relation with his stepmother Shajar al-Dur.
It also sheds light on the circumstances that complicated this relation.
It also states the plan adopted by Shajar al-Dur with al-Mamalik al-Bahriya to assassinate him and to end the Ayyubi region in the first half of the seventh century of al-Hijra (7AH / 13AD).
