The research aims at knowing: 1.

The styles of parental treatment as it is recognized by the university students in general.

2.

The level of the exploitative personality of the university students in general.

3.

The nature of differences in the styles of parental treatment as it is recognized by the university students according to the variables of sex and study stage.

4.

The nature of the relationship among the styles of parental treatment as it is recognized by the sons and the exploitative personality of the students.

The final sample of the research consisted of 1041 students of Mosul University.

This sample was chosen through the classificatory random method.
