Abstract EN

The current research aims to identify the performance of educational counselors from the point of view of secondary school teachers in Basra governorate.

The research community includes in-service male and female teachers.

To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher chose a sample of (200) male and female teachers.

The researcher used a questionnaire as a research tool.

It is composed of (10) items.

It was presented to a group of experts to check its face validity.

As for the statistical methods used in the research, they were weighted average, percent weight.

The following research results have been reached: the educational guide had an active role in the treatment of educational and psychological problems for students.
