We studied lamentation in the pre-Islamic era but briefly.

As well as the theme of lamentation in Kuwaiti poetry, and applications on it from the poetry of Kuwaiti poets and types of lamentation such as lamentations of rulers, scholars, lamentations of wives, sons, friends, and cities.
