The poet Abid Al-Jaleel Al-Tabatabaee is the leader of the renewal movement of the traditional Kuwait poetry.

He is one of the founders of this movement, and so is his student the poet Abid Allah Faraje.

This Kind of poetry aims to love to lope the poetry and to get rid of the old style of writings that the poets followed.

They (the poets, should stop writing on traditional topless such as court eulogy, lament… etc, and to foams on the causes of its development that the Kuwait and Gulf poets should make use of.
