Muhammad Yunus has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.

This study aims to clarify the importance of the solidarity economy as a tool to address poverty in Algeria, by droping the model of Grameen Bank on Algeria, and showing the reasons for choosing this model and its potential in contributing to the eradication of poverty in Algeria.
