Les obstacles à l'innovation technologique dans le milieu industriel public Algérien

Abstract EN

The contraints of the economic environment (restructuring, establishment of the market economy, economic crisis, accession to the EU) force Algerian companies to seek suitable responses in order to innovate, to maintain an acceptable technological level and ensure consistency between its economic and human development.

This dynamic of change has not spared the industrial public sector, which has seen, from the 1980s, adding to the challenges that it is far from having overcome new demands.

Nowadays, the competitiveness of companies is based on qualitative elements of which innovation is the most important.

This study looks at the innovation effort in Algeria.

The subject is apprehended by an analytical methodological approach.

Based on research devoted to technological innovation in Algeria, it will, on the one hand, describe and analyze the general context of a country (Algeria) seeking to promote innovation and to examine the specific context of the public enterprise, on the other hand.

The aim is to remove obstacles to innovation, in particular in the case of public enterprises.

These obstacles are institutional and organizational, but also related to the demand by economic enterprises for research and development and innovation.
