The Universities represent the highest scientific, academic and educational structure in the series of workshops or stages of education.

This is the stage that completes the building and refinement of the student's personality, awareness and level of thinking, as well as his knowledge in the field of specialization.

It is the independent scientific institution that has a specific organizational structure and has well-known academic systems, customs and traditions.

This makes the university face the requirements of placing all its material and human resources in the service of the society in general.

It contributes to the renaissance and advancement of society.

Universities and productive institutions are in a mutual relationship.

The role of the universities is therefore to prepare human resources, scientific research, develop knowledge and activate intellectual and cultural public, and the preparation and rehabilitation of graduates for the labor market should be training and retraining in subjects important to suit the employment opportunities when available and able to absorb advanced technologies.

Even for human sciences, the outputs of these disciplines must be addressed to suit the requirements of economic growth and emphasize the importance of these studies.

In the research, we discussed the study of the followup Unit and the employment of Graduates in the College of Political Science - Al Mustansiriya University and its role in supporting and qualifying students for the post-graduate and postgraduation stages through the establishment of workshops and lectures that develop the abilities of students and graduates and prepare them for post-graduation.
