In this research introduced the concept of social capital.

And How it relates to sustainable development by boosting production and combating poverty and building a culture of tolerance and trust within the community? And the reality of social capital in our communities Arabic? Using descriptive research approach which includes a collection of facts and information on the phenomenon or a problem or situation or a group of people or a series of events or a set of conditions, examination, analysis and interpretation to develop potential links between variables.

The most important results: 1- the most important elements of social capital trust between community members.

2-social capital is the surest path to sustainable development3- Some traditional values of Iraqi society and the Arab world still limit the effectiveness of women in society and hinder the enable them to participate effectively in development.4- Social capital in case of corrosion and collapse in Iraq and other Arabic communities because of human crises.
