Abstract EN

The research is based on a study of the open place of one of the novels of the Iraqi writer: Resmiyeh Mheibis from The town Thi-qar, south of Iraq, which is the novel "Back to Lagesh", which was published in 2019 AD.

We have started the research by stating what the place was from a modern critical perspective, from the Arside and the West side.

Then inserting its importance, in general, in the perceptions of the writer.

Then placing the hand on the two parts of the open place in the novel.

Depending on the geographical basis, it was: the open place in Iraq, and the open place in Iran.
